ANNUAL AWARDS

Each year the Aquatic Capital honors a number of Long Beach athletes, coaches, organizations, and aquatic-minded citizens for outstanding accomplishments in the prior year.

2024 ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY

Our 13th Annual Awards Dinner & Ceremony inducted 11 new members and organizations into the Awards Ceremony. They are: Kristina Duggan (Tom Shadden Citizen Of The Year), Mike Segerblom (Community Service Award), Maggie Twinem, (Outstanding Achievement), Alex Kostich (Masters Athlete Of The Year) Brenden Gruneisen (Coach Of The Year), Lawrence Durand (Coach Of The Year), Catherine Som De Ceff (High School Achievement), Isabella Chen (High School Achievement), Naples Island Swims (Organization Of The Year), Greg Shea (Dick Miller Waterman Of The Year), and Hannes Daube (Athlete Of The Year).
