GRANTS FOR GEAR​

The Grants for Gear program will make gear subsidies to offset the cost of team suits, caps, and required t-shirts or other uniform available to high school athletes from any Long Beach Unified School District school.  Athletes will be able to apply for up to 150.00 to cover the cost of their gear. These funds will be dispersed directly to the businesses supplying team gear to each school.

 

This program is intended to support participation in competitive aquatics by all students.  Aquatic sports are for everyone; A lack of economic resources shouldn’t keep anyone out of the pool.

 

Student Athletes can apply to the program here. (Applications will open in October of 2025)
